Istanbul Sarıyer MŞ House: Intersections & Crosswise Selection

Located in Sarıyer, Istanbul, MŞ House now holds two new works from The Clique Artworks. In the salon, New York Intersections #03 settles into a color palette closely aligned with the room's own tones. On a ceramic-clad wall of the house, Conclusion, Crosswise #12 takes its place with a language of its own.

From the Intersections series, New York Intersections #03 conceptualizes the urban landscape as a space of layered encounters — the city's silhouettes fragmented and reassembled through sharp geometric planes that cut across the canvas like shards of glass. In the salon of MŞ House, the work's palette sits close to the room's existing tones, its prismatic verticals folding into the space rather than standing apart from it. On the ceramic wall, Conclusion, Crosswise #12 works with a different register entirely. Defined by sharp and distinct boundaries, the Crosswise series builds a visual language of clarity and decisiveness — yellow-blue horizontal stripes creating a graphic balance between color blocks, while a dense oil paint texture adds physical depth beneath the surface.

Across the house, MŞ House now holds two distinct registers of The Clique Artworks: the layered, prismatic energy of a city skyline in the salon, and the disciplined rhythm of a grid against the ceramic wall — each finding its own place, on its own surface.
