Inner Aqua #08

The Inner Aqua series is built upon the ancient, transformative power of water—not merely as a physical substance, but as a life-giving force that reshapes everything it touches. The emphasis on "Aqua" within the title defines the clear, fluid, and purifying character of the works, illustrating how this liquid energy permeates the depths of the paper to become an "inner landscape."

Guided by water, the paints and pigments spread across the surface, allowing the inherent transparency and softness of the element to be felt in every stroke. The calming blue of the "Aqua" clashes with rust-colored textures to create a visual feast of nature’s cycles—water eroding metal, nourishing the earth, and leaving a memory trace at every point of contact.

For the viewer, Inner Aqua offers a glimpse into the stilled, crystalline world beneath the surface. Forms are no longer solid; instead, they dissolve, disperse, and reshape within the water, inviting the mind to cleanse itself of noise and find peace in that ancient, tranquil flow. The structures do not impose themselves; they exist in gentle harmony with the water’s primordial rhythm.
