Wind Shape, After the Wind #09

The wind passes and leaves a trace. Sometimes in the opening of a bird's wings, sometimes in the silence suspended in the air. The bird is the purest symbol of freedom — neither bound to the ground, nor fixed in one place. It glides, it rises, it disappears. After the Wind is the story of this trace and this freedom. It carves into stone, through abstract forms, what remains the very moment the wind passes by, and the movement and independence hidden within the bird's flight. Each artwork freezes a moment within itself; that fragile, fleeting point right in the middle of the bird's wingbeat. Making the invisible visible, and rendering what is felt tangible, After the Wind is a limited-edition sculpture series by The Clique Artworks.

The wind takes no shape, but it leaves a trace. Wind Shape carves into stone that invisible form left by the wind upon a bird — bent, twisted, merged with the wind. This form does not imitate the wind, it becomes the wind itself. It tells of surrendering instead of resisting, and the power hidden within surrender.
